Mike & The Ravens were a popular rock band in Vermont and upstate New York in the early 1960s, before the British music invasion.

Many consider them the original garage band.Â The five members of the band, now all in their 60s, are enjoying a new popularity, especially in Scandinavia.

After 44 years, the band has gotten back together and released a new CD titled, Noisy Boys, The Saxony Sessions. It's garnered many favorable reviews by national critics, including a top 100 listing for best album of 2008 by a senior editor of Billboard. A new album has been recorded and is now being mastered in Finland.
